Ingredients

1 tsp tea (preferably black tea for traditional Indian chai)
1/2 tsp traditional chai spices
1-2 cups water
1-2 Cups Milk (as per preference)
Optional Sugar (optional, as per taste)

Method

Step 1
Add tea and chai spices to 1–2 cups of boiling water.
Step 2
Bring to a boil.
Step 3
Lower the heat and let it simmer until the spices release aroma.
Step 4
Add milk and sugar (if desired).
Step 5
Increase heat and bring it back to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
Taste and adjust strength by boiling longer if needed.
Step 7
Strain, discard solids, and serve.
